Only few seasons allowed the four Bronx kids to become the Kings of Bachata and real International popstar. At the beginning they were called "Los Teenagers", with an unusual mixbetween North American and Caribbean culture and when Antony, Lenny, Mikey and Henry decided their new name and brand, probably they perceived that they were going to live a real adventure.

Caribbean rhytms, hip hop, latin sound. A brand new fusion of melodies and colors for Aventura that in 2003 and 2004 they managed to raise the worldwide charts and sell millions of copise of their records. But their name were already known among the supporters and on tropical music specialized radio stations.

A particularly strong success because not attributable to the International majors of the records. For many radios,even the ones not specialized, it was essential to broadcast Aventura. A worldwide word-of-mouth and then via web which transformed Aventura in a real record phenomenon.

The Italian and International success.
In Italy the great success of Aventura was born. The single "Obsesion" was the best seller single in 2003 and in the last 10 years in Italy, winning the double platinum record. Obsesiòn hit all records, resisting more than 4 months at n. 1 in Italian charts and 2 months at n° 1 in EuroChart. The same goal for the album "We Broke The Rules" that was among the first 10 best seller album in Italy winning two platinum records plus a gold one. A hit that climbed the french, german, spanish, british charts preparing Aventura for the following record.

And in facti, Aventura are more than a one-season phenomenon. The success, repeated in spring-summer 2004 with "Cuando Volveras", the single from "Love and Hate" the following album. Only few weeks for Aventura and Planet Records to gain other two gold records, to join Sanremo like International guests and the Gran Galà of Festivalbar.

Summer 2005, with a worldwide tour, Aventura present their new record "God's Project" that in Usa sold in the first week more than 100,000 copies. A album where Aventura beyond bachata and merengue, propose reggaetòn as well. In the new CD the band invited to play and sing also the Nina Sky, Don Omar and the mayimbe Antony Santos.

In december 2006 arrives KOB "Kings Of Bachata" anticipated by “Los Infieles” (in Billboard USA charts). Kob is a triple box with 2 cd audio plus 1 dvd video containing many new tracks , old successes, videoclips and live recordings is published in worldwide prèmiere of the indipendent label.

After a 3 years break Aventura announce the new album awaited for 2009 june. The title “The last”, the single is “All Up 2 You” written ans sang by Akon and Wisin y Yandel, The CD is released at the same time in Italy and United States, where the preorders overcome 300,000 copies! Great track featuringi Wycleaf Jean where Bachata is mixed with the main expression of black-american ’R’nb.

Aventura
Anthony (Romeo) Santos.
He is the singer and composer. He was born on 21/06/1981 in Bronx (New York) by portorican mother and dominican father. His first experience were when he was 12 in the choir of the church. Further he got fond of bachatero rhythm and composes his first songs. His voice has an unmistakable falsetto, Anthony writes his lyrics talking about the real life latinos youth who live in the streets of American towns.
Lenny Santos.
He is the guitarist, arranger and producer of Aventura. Also Lenny was born in Bronx on 24/10/1979. He loves hip hop music but, thanks to his dominican roots, he has always tried to create a crossover between different music genres. He is the maker of the particular sound of Aventura. Lenny is the ideal completion of Anthony.
Max (Mikey) Santos.
Bass player, he was born in Bronx in 1982, and he started to play at the age of 12 when he borrowed a bass in his school, joining his brother Lenny in testingthe various grooves he will play in Aventura records. Fanatic of rock, he has always tried to transfer his passion into the band. Mikey is an excellent rapper and in their third CD (Love & Hate) he had his debut with the song "Don't Waste My Time".
Henry Santos Jeter.
Singer and composer he was born on 15/09/1979 in Moca, Dominican Republic, at the age of 14, he moved to New York with his family. His singer career started with his cousin Anthony. Both created the band Los Teenagers, which became the present "Grupo Aventura".
During the live shows he is the entertainer which drags the audience.

Bachata
Altogether with merengue, bachata is the traditonal music of Dominican Republic, usually played by three or four members with 1 or 2 guitars, bass, drums and voice, with gloomy melodies played upon a softer groove than merengue. Aventura bachata is a melting pot with rap, reggae, r'n'b. The new sound breaks the rules of traditional dominican bachata and drives Aventura directly among the Best Internal popstars.
