FITO BLANKO


Fito Blanko has become a familiar name across Canada, where he lives. Born in Panama, with his contagious mix of rhythm and personality has slowly made way into the best dance-floors of the entire Western Hemisphere. At the age of 26, Fito has established himself as a well respected Urban artist.

 

Fito's first album, "Higher Level" produced by Sensei Musica (2004), had launched his career in the Latin market. At the young age of 19, Fito was already being featured in magazines such as Urban Latino, Billboard Magazine, and was voted "the newest Latin sensation" in People en Español Magazine in 2005. Fito was also making appearances on TV Channels such as Mun2, MTV, HTV, Much Music and received awards for his talent: the Latin Industry Award for "Best Solo Artist" and the Canadian Urban Music Award for "Global Rhythms, International Recording Artist".

 

In 2006, Fito traveled to Trinidad and recorded the track "Pretty Girl" with Soca/Chutney superstar "The Hitman", this track became a #1 hit single in Trinidad winning him an award for Best Chutney Soca Song of the Year at the annual 2007 Soca Awards. Finally, and most notably, Fito had the opportunity to collaborate with Daryl Riley and Grammy award winning Reggae artist Beenie Man in the hit single "Tear it up". Fito spent most of 2008 touring every main town in Canada. Also,  Fito closed TLN Latin Fest for the second and third time (the first of which was in 2005).

 

In 2010 Fito Released 2 Singles: "Mambo" and "Whine on you" that set the tone for his current success internationally. "Mambo" features one of the hottest talents in the music business today Drake, and "Whine on you" featuring Omar Ferrari charted on Canadian Radio / Television Charts including Much Music and Much Vibe.

 

His 2011 single hit "V.I.P." featured two of the hottest Latino artists to date, Fuego and El Cata. V.I.P. was promoted with a National radio and marketing campaign through North America and Europe. This strategy introduced Fito Blanko to the international market, branding him amongst the Elite in Latin Urban genre. V.I.P. charted on 3 US Latin Billboards charts: Latin Rythym, Tropical Latin, and Latin Pop.

 

Fito Blanko partnered up with Robert Fernandez from Famous Artist management (Pitbull Staff) soon after the success of V.I.P. This young artist released other notable collaborations including "Te Quiero" ft EI Mambi (Laz Alonso), "Crazy People" remix with Pitbull and Sensato.

 

New single "Pegadito Suavecito" (Jan 2012), will be a major follow up to the unique sound that has given Fito the spotlight and crediting him with the number 1 song in Miami!

Blanko is co-owner and President of Crown Loyalty Entertainment (Record Label) partnered with some of Toronto's youngest entrepreneurs sets Fito apart from his counterparts. Well known, well respected and very admired by Toronto's night life, makes him one of the few artists with the key of his own city, Toronto.

 

From New York to L.A. and Miami, from Paris to Rome and Ibiza, Fito Blanko is here to climb to the top and rock all the parties with his electrifying performances.
