LORETTA GRACE


Born and bred in central Italy, Loretta Grace grew up on R&B, Reggae and Soul. She started singing in her teens, and then performing in the best clubs in the country and overseas.
 

She played the leading role in the Italian production of the musical "Sister Act" produced by Whoopy Goldberg and Stage-Entertainment. Whoopy Goldberg herself has attended the first night of the show, making public statements of high esteem and praise for the young artist. Furthermore she performed live with worldwide known artists as James Blunt and Randy Crawford and with the legendary Joe Cocker.
 

October 2013: Loretta played  the role of Oda Mae Brown in the Italian production of "Ghost The Musical", stage musical adaptation of the 1990 film "Ghost’". The authors of the musical are Glen Ballard, Bruce Joel Rubin and Dave Stewart, known for his main role in the Eurythmics with Annie Lennox. Dave Stewart described, in the meeting with the press in Milan for the launch of the show, with his own words Loretta as “listening to her songs, I can hear Aretha Franklin, James Brown and Tina Turner, all  three of  them singing in Italian in only one person”.
 

2014: Loretta Grace has signed an artist recording contract with the label Planet Records. At the moment she’s working, not only as singer but also as songwriter, on her first album. The first Italian black Artist to break big?
