FUEGO


 

Fuego, whose real name is Miguel Duran, is a singer of reggaeton, urban and tropical music, composer and CEO of his label Estrella de Barrio (EDB Records).

Born on September 24th, 1981 in Washington, Miguel has been accustomed from his early age to good music and it was natural for him to follow  the footsteps of his father who is a musician.

 

In 2005, with the help of Chencho, a member of the duo reggaetonero Plan B,  he has collaborated to the release of the album "El Draft 2005" with the song "Me Gustan Todas". He later signed with the "Chosen Few Emerald Entertainment, Inc." of the producer Boy Wonder.

 

In 2007, he released the song "Hustlin Time" in collaboration with Rick Ross to promote the CD / DVD "Chosen Few III: The Movie".

 

In 2008,  Fuego finally achieved success with "Mi Alma Se Muere". The remix, released by Pitbull and Omega, was made ​​a year later and reached no. 22 of the Top 100 Tropical Billboards for over 24 weeks.

 

In 2009, he recorded "Super Estrella" with Omega, the first single from his album "La Musica del Futuro", which reached no. 36  of the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart. He was nominated to Premio Lo Nuestro 2011 in the category "Revelation of the Year" in urban music.

 

The song "Una Vaina Loca" became an international hit with over 30 million hits on You Tube.
